St George’s Day & in Memory of HM Queen Elizabeth II

A special carillon recital will take place at Bournville Carillon on Saturday at 3:00pm, performed by Trevor Workman.
The recital celebrates St George’s Day (23 April) and will also include a tribute in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, marking the anniversary of her birth on 21 April 1926.
The programme features a range of traditional and classical English music, including works by Purcell, Elgar, Handel, and Parry, together with familiar folk melodies such as Greensleeves and The Lass of Richmond Hill. The recital will conclude with the National Anthem, God Save the King.
