The Life and Music of Sir Edward Elgar
One of the most famous British composers, Sir Edward Elgar was born in Lower Broadheath, near Worcester, on 2 June 1857 and died on 23 February 1934. British Carillon Society visit Bournville
The British Carillon Society will be holding it's Annual General Meeting in Bournville on Saturday 12 March 2016. Trevor will be giving two recitals on the day: At 12 noon a programme of Irish music to celebrate forthcoming St. Patrick's Day on Thursday 17 March 2016. At 3.00 pm there will be a varied programme of popular music to welcome members of the British Carillon Society to Bournville for the purpose of attending the Societies Annual General Meeting. Trevor takes part in Ypres Memorial
Bournville's Trevor Workman is currently on a recital tour of Belgium. On Thursday 9 July, he took part in a special commemorative programme in Ypres, one of the major World War 1 battle sites.
