What's happening with Bournville Carillon in 2016?

A programme for the year has been prepared which will include eminent guest recitals and special events.
Details for specific events will be posted separately nearer the time so watch this site for more information.
One of our guests will be Frank Steijns from Maastricht, Holland who will play on Saturday 30 July. Frank will be recognised as a violinist in the world renowned Andre Rieu Orchestra. This event will have some surprises so keep the date free and watch out for more information.
We have already had special recitals in recognition of Valentine's day, and 3 Saints Days (St. David, St. Patrick, and St. George) as well as meditational music on Good Friday, but there are some exciting events yet to come.
A special occasion is planned later in the year when our recently installed 25 new bells will be inaugurated.
Details are currently being planned and will be published on this site in the near future.
A further special event will take place on Saturday 11 June when Trevor will give a recital in celebration of the 90th birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Come and enjoy the music on what we hope will be a fine summer day on the Green.
