With 48 bells, Bournville Carillon ranks as one of the finest and largest instruments of its kind in Great Britain.  George Cadbury commissioned the Carillon as a gift to the Cadbury workers in 1906 after a visit to Bruges, Belgium.

The Carillon is played regularly throughout the year.


Saturday recitals are held:

  • From February through to December.

  • 12.00 noon and 3.00 p.m.

  • Changes displayed in the visitor centre.


Please check for special arrangements and performances.


Bookings to visit the carillon and see it being played are held on Saturdays.
